We brought our group to Meetup.com in April 2010, but we actually began our monthly book discussions in September 2009. We have been having our meetings the first Wednesday evening of every month, 7pm at Red Hook Coffee & Tea (765 S 4th St - between Fitzwater & Catharine in Queen Village). The meetings generally go no later than 9pm. We are casual and enthusiastic; our members enjoy reading and collectively choosing and discussing books on a monthly basis. This Meetup is ideal for the 35+ bunch who are looking for diversity in dining and activities. Locations will run the gamut from upscale restaurants to hole-in-the-wall ethnic spots (with fantastic food).
